Earl "Cowboy" Bly Lee

Earl "Cowboy" Bly Lee, age 75, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Mr. Lee was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, August 11, 1949, a son of the late Hazel Messer Lee and William Earl Lee. He served in United States Army and then worked in the textile industry as a machine operator for many years.  He also helped with the landscaping at Christ Church Episcopal School.  He enjoyed fishing, the mountains and bluegrass music.  He loved all of his friends he made on the streets in Greenville. He was known for his kindheartedness and looked out for others.  Earl loved Jesus and shared his faith openly with those he met.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Steve Lee and wife, Catherine; a special friend, Bob; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughters and sons; brothers, Roger Taylor, and Bill Taylor; and sisters, Ruth Lee, and Rachel McConnell.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs following the visitation.

Interment will be at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 18, 2025.

The family will be at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Catherine Lee in Greer.
