Doris D Mccombs

Doris D. McCombs, 74, of Lyman, SC passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.  Mrs. McCombs was born on December 7, 1949, in Spartanburg, SC, to Claude and Eloise U. Gilbert.  She was a member of Jackson Mill Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife and mother.

Doris is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. McCombs, Sr.; children, Arthur "Lewis" Duncan, Jr., Kenneth E. McCombs, Jr., (Candice), Katie Looney (Larry), and Austane C. McCombs; grandchildren, Chris Knighton, Ken McCombs (Erin), Krysta Profera (Brenton), Ethan McCombs, Justin McCombs, Seth Seager, Cory Looney (Kendall),and  Kayla Looney; great-grandchildren, Ella McCombs, Grayson McCombs, Braxton Crossin, Abigail Crossin, Blake Duncan, and Azilyn Chhim; brothers, Gene Gilbert, and Johnny Gilbert (Judy), and sister-in-law, Ann Gilbert.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by daughter, Tracey D. Knighton, sister, Vera Crow, and brother, Joe Gilbert.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs conducted by Pastor Dylan Baxter.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at the home.

Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs is serving the family.
