Donald Eugene Williams

Donald Eugene Williams "Pa", 85, of Chesnee, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Donald was born on November 19, 1940, in Spartanburg. He was a son of the late, Charles Williams "E-Pa" and Lougenia Bridges Williams "E-Ma".

He dedicated his life to his family, faith, and community. He worked as a home builder for more than 50 years and farmed alongside his family throughout his life. A devoted Christian, he was a faithful member of Arrowwood Baptist Church for 65 years, where he served as Sunday School Director and deacon. He was well known in his community for his generosity, particularly for sharing the fruits of his labor through his charitable farming of many things, particularly peaches and tomatoes.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marguerite Brannon Williams (Ma); his sons Donnie (Kim), Scott (Angie), and Darrell (Miranda) Williams; his grandchildren Daniel, Austin, Justin, Jared, Loran, and Lahna Williams; his great-grandchildren Destiny and Daniel Jr.; and his brother Glenn (Kay) Williams.

Donald will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose kindness and faith touched many lives.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 2:00PM at Arrowwood Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Daniel Godfrey and Rev. Wofford Caughman. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 2:00PM.

Pallbearers will be Austin Williams, Justin Williams, Jared Williams, Daniel Williams, Jr., Ted Williams, and Jerry Cash.

Interment will immediately follow the service at the Arrowwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
