Donald Robert Thrift, Jr.

Donald Robert Thrift, Jr., 57, of Mayo, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He was born in Spartanburg on November 24, 1966 to Judy Cox Thrift and the late Donald Robert Thrift, Sr.

Donnie was a member of Casey Creek Baptist Church where he enjoyed going on mission trips. He was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan and loved NASCAR.

Mr. Thrift is survived by his sister, Sandy Halstead (Roy); brothers, Philip Thrift (Cathy) and Jay Thrift; nieces, Logan Henrickson (Tristan), Kelly Turner, Courtney Thrift, and Paisley Thrift; nephew, Stephen Foster; great nieces, Hagan Henrickson, Langstan Henrickson, and Kathryn Turner; and great nephews, Jaxon Foster and Kingstan Henrickson.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Casey Creek Baptist Church with the Dr. Jerry White officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00PM, in the church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
