Desma Jackson Kimbrell

Desma Jackson Kimbrell, 86, of Chesnee entered into rest July 16, 2024. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Franklin T. Kimbrell and the daughter of the late Arthur Jackson and Eunice Mae Hammett Jackson.

She was a charter member of Casey Creek Baptist Church, Willing Workers Sunday School Class, and retired from J.M. Smith Corporation.

She is survived by one son, Frankie (Cindy) Wall; one daughter, Jackie (Emmanuel) Kargiatlis; caregiver and granddaughter, Tonya Wall (Brian); and four grandchildren, Katie Gibson, Chris Greer, Lea Nguyen, and Pete Kargiatlis.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 19, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Casey Creek Baptist Church with funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Todd Lyda and Rev. Jerry White officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Agape Hospice and to Michael and Hailey for the special care they gave Ma-Maw.
