Delbert Bazil Moffatt

Delbert Bazil Moffatt, 85, of Cowpens, South Carolina passed away on December 24, 2025. He was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia on November 6, 1940 to the late Betty Jean Fike Moffatt and Guy Moffatt.

He was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion- Chesnee Post. He was also a member of the Senior Center in Gaffney and served the less fortunate every Saturday.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Jean Hartman Moffatt; daughter, Marla Moffatt Smith; sons, Darrell Moffatt and Dale Moffatt (Debra); sisters, Shirley Cowger and Annie Schrader (Jim); brother, Mike Moffatt; sister-in-law, Kathy Smith (Eugene); as well as 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Tim and Duane Moffatt.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:00pm at East Spartanburg Church of God.
