Deborah Ann Labanick

Deborah Ann Dilks Labanick, age 71, of Inman, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born on May 23, 1954, in Renova, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of Charles Dilks and Patricia Ann Kelley Dilks.

Deborah was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend whose kind spirit touched everyone she met. She was married for 46 years to her husband, George Michael Labanick, Deborah had a deep love for all animals and was a master gardener; growing both vegetables and flowers. She loved God, her family, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Virginia, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory & Henry College. She spent her career working as a water instructor. Deborah was a longtime member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Spartanburg.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents are her husband, George; son, Thomas Labanick; and sister, Betsy Gilmer (Vincent). She was preceded in death by one son, John Labanick.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home, with Rev. Arthur Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
