David Larry Rowe

Mr. David Larry Rowe, 79, loving husband of the late Linda B. Rowe, of Inman, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

David was born in Spartanburg County on October 2, 1947, a son of the late Rufus Matthew and Pauline Stone Rowe. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was an active member of The View Church, where he faithfully served on Wednesday nights. He retired from the Spartanburg County Water System after many years of dedicated service. In his free time, David treasured time spent with his family, especially attending sporting events to watch his grandchildren play baseball. He also enjoyed cutting grass and playing bingo.

David is survived by his daughters, Stephanie R. White and her husband, Chuck, of Chesnee, Michelle Rowe of Lyman, and a son, Brent Rowe and his wife, Brandi, of Chesnee; his grandchildren, David and Caitlin, Kasey and Lochlan, Bryce, Braiden, and Barrett; a brother, Steve Rowe and his wife, Peggy, of Inman; his adopted daughter, Claudia Garcia of Lyman; and his beloved Boston terrier, Milo. 

In addition to his beloved wife and devoted parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Rowe.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
