David Howard Rochester

Mr. David Howard Rochester, age 74, husband of Brenda Kirby Rochester passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at Spartanburg Restorative Care.

Mr. Rochester was born November 8, 1949, in Gaffney, SC a son of the late Ralph Rochester and Estelle Patterson Rochester. Mr. Rochester was an avid musician who played guitar and also sang.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 51 years are son, Brian Rochester, and wife Mandy; daughter, Renee Rochester Miller; sisters, Thelma Kirby, and Lillian Fowler; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Connie Rochester, and brother, Ellis Rochester.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Morning Star Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Michael John Rochester.  Interment will follow at Pacolet Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Morning Star Baptist Church from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Saturday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eggers Funeral Home, 195 Rainbow Lake Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316 to help with funeral expenses.
