David Neil Robbins

David Neil Robbins, age 77 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away on January 30, 2025. David was born January 16, 1948 in Iredell County, NC to the late Buford Adam Robbins and Annie Laura Troutman Robbins. He was the youngest of their five children. David loved spending time with the love of his life, Lisa and their dog, Pinto. His hobbies included fishing and working on things.  He also enjoyed old trucks.  He was a proud veteran of the US Army, 2nd Cavalry.

David was preceded in death by sisters, Sarah J. Dixon and Marguerite R. Phillips.  And brothers Ray and Steve Robbins.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa L. Robbins; son, David Neil Robbins Jr., and daughter Stephanie (Dylan) Mayberry, brother Adam (Shawn) Robbins, Step daughters Jessica Bradburn and Linda Lowery, Step granddaughter Isabella and Raven Nave, Natalie Elmore and Dakota Sabins and step grandsons Gabriel Nave, Deven Elmore and Ty Sabins, many extended family in Clover, SC.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC with Reverend Tim Worthy officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
