David Thomas Pitts, Sr.

David Thomas Pitts, Sr., 76, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Born in Dothan, AL, he was a son of the late Lauden Paul Pitts and Ona Thompson Pitts. David was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, camp and backpack. He was happiest in the woods, especially when he lived in Crested Butte, Colorado. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy O'Rear; and three brothers, Phillip Pitts, Tim Pitts, and Pete Pitts.

David is survived by his wife, Pamela Pitts; two sons, David T. Pitts, Jr. and Jonas Zachariah Pitts; two sisters, Susan Glenn and Tricia Williams; and one granddaughter, Emberly Pitts.
