David Lee Norman

David Lee Norman, 75, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.

He resided in Earl, NC with his wife of 54 years, Julie McIntyre Norman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Broadus and Doris Norman and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Brooke McDaniel.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind a daughter, LeighAnn Goins (Dwayne) of Earl and a son David Oren Norman (Missy) of Mooresboro. Nine grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon and Cassidy Goins of Earl, Taylor Norman of Cherokee Falls, SC, Lindzey Norman of Earl, Reggie McDaniel of Earl, Izabella Norman, Liberty Garcia and Sofia Garner of Mooresboro. Five great grandchildren, Avia Norman, Khloe Pennington, Skylar McDaniel, Azlin Loman and River-Brooks Pennington. And two sisters, Doris Callahan and Suzie Morgan of Earl. David worked many jobs in his years. But retired from Duke Power after 25 years of dedication and Morgan corporation after 10 years.He loved spending time with his family and friends. Especially cooking and fellowship outdoors. In his spare time, he loved to be anywhere he could spend hours fishing. He attended New Life Outreach Church of Shelby.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
