Darlene Ruth Martin

Darlene "Dynamite" Lee Martin, of Chesnee, South Carolina passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, November 29, 2024. She was born in Luzerne, Pennsylvania on May 29, 1955.
Darlene was an amazing mother, grandmother, and wife who was deeply loved. She loved her family, friends, and husband. She enjoyed the beach, visiting with her friends, porch sitting, and watching her daily show.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kimberly Charlton (Thomas Fishtorn) and Jessica Shelhamer; son, Stephen "Joshua" Shelhamer; granddaughters, Elizabeth "Izzy" Hall (Anthony Hall) her caregivers, and Savannah Kohl; grandsons, Bryan "Hunter" Brant, Johnathan Brant (Kylee Jennings), James T. Hardy, II, and RJ Nesbitt, Jr.; and great grandchildren, Keaton Hall, Maelee Hall, Ryder Hall, and Waylon Brant.
She was predeceased by her husband, SGT First Class Master Gunner Carl J. Martin; son, Scott M. Lee; daughter, Jamie L. Shelhamer; grandson, Dallas Brant; parents, Herbert "Butt" Lee and Stella Mae Sorber-Lee; and brothers, Robert Lee and Herbert "Snork" Lee, Jr.
