Danny Floyd Brooks

Danny Floyd Brooks, 78, passed away on February 4, 2025, at his home in Imman, South Carolina. He was born May 7, 1946, in Spartanburg, South Carolina a son of the late Floyd and Mary Brooks.

Danny led a fulfilling life marked by his dedication to his family and his country.

Professionally, Danny was a self-employed mechanical engineer. His work was not just a career but a passion, through which he solved complex problems and innovated in his field. His practical knowledge and hands-on skills were admired by all who worked alongside him.

Danny's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Taylor (Daniel); grandchildren, Haylee Willis (Tyler), Logan Brooks, and Blake Taylor; and great-granddaughter, Lexi Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jason Brooks; brother, Jack Brooks; and sister, Ann Lee.

A funeral service will be held at The Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and interment will follow at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, Wellford, South Carolina.

Danny's life will be remembered and celebrated by family, friends, and all who knew him.
