Daniel Burns Finger

Daniel Burns Finger, 89, of Chesnee, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Ann Horton Finger; his son, Brock (Nikki); and his grandchildren, Daniel and Anabelle.

Daniel was a retired forklift mechanic, though everyone that knew him knew he was truly a farmer at heart. One of his happiest days was when he was able to move back to the family land in Cooley Springs next door to his brother. He was one of the hardest working people you could ever meet and took great pride in providing for those he loved.

He had a sharp sense of humor and could always make people laugh. Daniel loved his friends and his family deeply and was always there for them. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he especially loved growing and eating his own tomatoes- one of the simple pleasures he truly enjoyed.

He will be remembered for his work ethic, his humor, and the way he took care of everyone around him.

Services will be held at Cooley Springs Baptist Church on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 2:00pm.
