Cleophus "Cleo" Graves

Cleophus "Cleo" Graves, Jr., 75, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Born and raised in Boiling Springs to his parents Cleophus Sr. and Ethel Wingo Graves. Cleo was the devoted and loving husband of Bonnie Drew Graves for 51 years.  He was the proud father of Cleophus "Drew" Graves (Jean) of Leesville, Louisiana, and Dena JoAnn McCorry (TJ) of Myrtle Beach. His most prized and cherished title was "Papa" to his grandchildren Baker Drew Graves and Scarlett Ann McCorry.  Cleo is survived by his sister Inge (Ted) Easler, his nephews Eric Graves (Lisa) and David Easler (Lindsey), his nieces Erin Graves (Chris Niver), and Leigh Davis (Matt). He is preceded in death by his brother Jack C. Graves (Barbara).

Cleo, a U.S. Air Force veteran, served honorably during Vietnam.  A gifted craftsman and master carpenter of more than 50 years, he helped build the residential Spartanburg community along with countless treasures beloved by family and friends today. Cleo will be missed by many, but his love will forever live in our hearts.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in the Chapel of Egger's Funeral Home, Boiling Springs, South Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Interment will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
