Christopher Everette Mckinney

Mr. Christopher Everette McKinney, age 50, of Mayo, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.

Mr. McKinney was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on March 3, 1974, the son of Margie Lowe McKinney and the late Ralph Norman McKinney. He worked as a welder for Crowder Construction Company. He loved cars, particularly his Corvette. Mr. McKinney will be missed by all who knew him, especially his beloved dogs, Cooper, Sophie, and Toby.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are his fiancé, Carrie Walters, and his estranged wife, Lisa McKinney. Mr. McKinney was predeceased by his father and several aunts and uncles.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Casey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Worthy officiating.

Family and friends are invited to stop by Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to sign the memorial guest book.
