Christal Brown Gossett

Mrs. Christal Darlene Brown Gossett, 61, of Jonesville, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. She was born in Sacramento, California on January 13, 1962 to the late Harold Robert and Evelyn Madora Varner Brown.

Mrs. Gossett was a firm believer of Jesus Christ and a faithful member of Jonesville Baptist Church. She was a beloved wife and mother, who loved scrapbooking, reading, camping, crocheting, and gardening. Christal loved her "furbabies" Tucker, Precious, and Bud. She lived a life of sacrifices for those she loved, but to her they were just acts of love, something worthwhile and meaningful.

Surviving are her loving husband of 39 years, Ronnie Gossett of Jonesville; daughter, Tina Gossett (fiancé Anthony Hancox) of Jonesville; sister, Robin Bennett (Mike) of Union; brother, Rev. Tony Brown (Carol) of Whitesburg, KY; sister-in-law, Alleen Gossett (Billy) of Jonesville; brother-in-law, Donald "Duck" Gossett of Union; nephew, Jesse Blitchington; special friend, Becky Beheler (Steve); as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and other relatives of varying locations.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn and Harold Brown, she was predeceased by a special cousin, Mary Lee Lawson.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Fairview Baptist Church, with Rev. Jeff Dean, Rev. Scott Cannon, Rev. Shannon Faulkner, and Rev. Tony Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:00PM prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
