Cheryl Ann Dash

Cheryl Ann Dash, 65, of Forest City, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026. She was born May 30, 1960, to the late Charles Register and Gloria Wilson Register.

Cheryl loved traveling with her dear friends, Paul and Angel Wolfcale, and spending time enjoying her favorite treats—Dr. Pepper, root beer, and whole crabs. She was known for her unique morning coffee, famously made with sugar and just a little bit of coffee. A woman with a generous heart, Cheryl found deep purpose in helping others. As a Recovery Sponsor, she dedicated herself to supporting people on their journeys toward sobriety, offering encouragement, understanding, and hope to those who needed it most. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who could no longer care for themselves. Cheryl also enjoyed long walks through her community, often stopping to visit and share conversation with friends along the way.  Above all, she was a devoted Christian, and her faith guided the way she lived her life—loving others and serving selflessly.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bobby Mosely and wife, Adia Roberts Mosely, and Jabari Mosely and wife, Jennifer Mosely; grandchildren, Ariana Hallie Reese, Trashaun Nathan Boyce, Amari Keymon Dewberry, DJ Boyce, Aaliyah lyonna Mosely, Langston Leroy Mosely, Aubrey Sky Mosely, and Justice Blaze Mosely; her siblings, Carol Gean Ponder, Charles Register, Jr., Anthony K. Register, and Vivian Louise Register; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

In addition to her parents, Gloria and Charles, she was also predeceased by a brother, Gregory Bruce Register.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Element Church conducted by Pastor Neil Perry.

The family extends our heartfelt thanks to all of you for your expressions of condolences, sincere prayers, and thoughtful deeds. Your kindness will always be remembered. May God bless each of you.

A special acknowledgement to those whose love, dedication, and constant support brought comfort and joy to Cheryl. Your presence in her life was truly a blessing, and your selfless acts will never be forgotten.
