Charles "Charlie" Preston Deming, Iii

Charles "Charlie" Preston Deming, III, 66, of Chesnee, SC passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on March 21, 1957 to the late Charles Preston Deming, Jr and Ethel Cassel Deming Gray.

Mr. Deming was a member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and the owner of Deming Electric. Charles was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved fishing, golfing, and hunting, and was a fan of the Clemson Tigers.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Robin Cudd Deming; daughter, Stephanie Tennyson (Jimmy); sons, Christopher Deming (Julia), Richard Deming, and Robert Smith (Laura); brother, Michael Deming (Rhonda); and grandchildren, Nate Coker, Sarah Westmoreland (Nick), Cameron Smith, Dylan Smith, Michael Deming, and Sammy Deming.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Leigh Ann Deming.

A funeral service will be held at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1:00PM with Rev. Dr. Daryle Hawthorne officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30AM until 1:00PM prior to the service.
