Charles "Chuck" David Mccoy, Jr.

Charles "Chuck" David McCoy, Jr., 57, of Inman, SC, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Charles David McCoy, Sr. and Mary Jane Pye McCoy. Chuck was a huge fan of the Clemson Tigers and loved to fish. He was a very wise and intelligent man. He would always take the time to share his wisdom and knowledge with his family and friends. Chuck was instrumental in the development of B.S.Y.A.A. Complex. He was a Mason and a member of the Boiling Springs Masonic Lodge #413. For 32 years, he owned and operated the family business. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Toni McCoy Shadd; and mother-in-law, Jackie Chaffin.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kim McCoy; son, Marty McCoy (Melissa); sister, Dana Burnett (Todd); three grandchildren, Charlie McCoy, Layla McCoy and Bella McCoy; father-in-law, Jimmy Chaffin; brother-in-law, Timmy Chaffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with the Rev. Danny Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00am until 12:30pm.
