Cecile Bragg

Cecile Bragg, age 81, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday December 14, 2025, in Spartanburg SC.

Mrs. Bragg was born, February 27,1944, in Blacksburg SC, to the late, Sease Gilmer and Ruth Dillingham Gilmer.

Cecile lived her life grounded in devotion, grace, and quiet strength, she was a long-time member of Valley Falls First Baptist Church.

Cecile was co-owner of Kid's Carousel Day Care in Spartanburg, SC, where she had a steady presence that made others feel safe, loved, and cared for.

Family meant everything to Cecile. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, James Bragg; daughter Kimberly Holder (Joel) and sister, Aleene Broome.

Though she is no longer with us in body her love will remain a guiding light in the lives of her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2PM at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
