Carolyn Cash Thompson

Carolyn Cash Thompson, 88, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Born in Mayo, SC, she was the daughter of the late Judd Lee Cash and Frances Gossett Cash. Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from Phelps Dodge. Carolyn was member of Green Point Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Alton Lee Thompson; three sisters, Carnell Bishop, Doris Cantrell and Marilyn Henderson; and four brothers, Hillard Cash, James Cash, William Cash and Bobby Cash.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Denise Clary (Glenn); son, Phil Thompson (Nici); sister, Brenda Heatherly; two grandchildren, Nick Thompson and Anna Thompson; and three great grandchildren, Sophia Thompson, Ellagrace Clary and Kimberly Bragg.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. David Lancaster officiating.
