Carolyn Louise Holder

Carolyn Louise Holder, 77, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry Fox, Sr. and Dorothy Condran Fox. Carolyn was an LPN who worked for 24 years at Spartanburg Regional on the IV Team, and 6 years at Rosecrest Retirement Center in the Alzheimer Unit. She was a member of Green Point Baptist Church, and the Red Hat Society. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Arthur Holder; a sister, Linda Garner; and a brother, John Fox.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Michael E. Holder (Tara); three daughters, Paula Bordenkircher (Tom), Jennifer Holder (Jamie) and Angela Cash (Tony); three sisters, Gloria Jean Fox, Ann Fox (Steve), and Deborah Brown (Sam); three brothers, Harry H. Fox, Jr. (Joan), David Fox, and Charles Fox (Kim); eleven grandchildren, Amber, Christina, Thomas, Michael II, Kaila, Emily, Kelsey, Joshua, Hunter, Maddison, and Dawson; fourteen great grandchildren; and two fur babies, Tilly and Callie.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel with the Rev. Dr. David Lancaster officiating.
