Carolyn Cantrell Henderson

Carolyn Cantrell Henderson, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on January 28, 2025, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was the widow of her loving husband of 58 years, Alton Ray Henderson.

She was born on August 25, 1935, to her parents, Sydney Lafayette Cantrell and Lollie Ann Kimbrell Cantrell.

Carolyn pursued a career as a cosmetologist, dedicating her professional life to her craft. She was also a devoted member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Sheila LeMaster (Greg) and Lynn Johnson (Butch); sisters, Hilda Scruggs (Billy), Linda Buchanan (Buck), Doris Hammett, Myra Suttles (Ronnie), and Vicki Bragg (Donnie); brother, Gene Cantrell (Katie); six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Ms. Henderson was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, a son, Lester Henderson, a brother, Mike Cantrell, sisters, Gail Lindsey and Jane Johnson and a grandson, Brad Smith.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ty Childers and Johnny Owens officiating.
