Carolyn Earline Harris

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Carolyn Earline Harris on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. She was born October 26, 1946 to the late Troy A. Smith and Frances Hall Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Montanez and Angel Oxford; a son, Keith Harris; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David Harris; a sister, Mary Frances Sailers; and a brother, Troy Andrew Smith, Jr.

Carolyn was a woman of unwavering faith whose life was marked by love, kindness, and compassion. She touched the lives of many through her gentle spirit, generous heart, and devotion to her family and friends. Her strength and grace were a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts, we find peace in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord she faithfully loved and served. We take comfort in God's promise of eternal life and hold tightly to the hope that we will see her again.

This is not goodbye, but until we meet again.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 29, 2026 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:00am, in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
