Cameron James Parsons

Cameron James Parsons, 19, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Born in Spartanburg on October 10, 2006, he was the son of James Elmer Parsons, Jr., and Angela Sullivan Parsons.

Cameron was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School, where he played baseball and wrestled. He was a member of Greenpoint Baptist Church and had worked for Jones Brothers Landscaping in Inman since he was 14 years old.

Cameron loved life, his friends, and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker who played even harder, bringing energy and enthusiasm to all he did.

In addition to his parents, James and Angie, he is survived by his sister, Madison Deason, and her husband, Zachary; his nephew, Sullivan Deason; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Sullivan; his aunts and uncles, Brenda Parsons, and husband, Jeff, Eddie “Bo” Sullivan, Bryan Parsons, and wife, Tammy, Peggy Taylor, and husband, Frankie, and Crystal English, and her husband, Jerry; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Parsons, Sr., and Eva Mae Parsons; and his maternal grandfather, Joe Lee Sullivan.

A celebration of Cameron’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Greenpoint Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Dr. David Lancaster.

The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM prior to the service. To allow the service to begin at 4:00 PM, the visitation line will close at that time. Friends and family who have not yet had an opportunity to speak with the family are welcome to offer their condolences following the service.
