Buford Lee Fowler

Buford Lee Fowler, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Born in Walnut Grove, South Carolina, Buford was the son of Wilford Fowler and Catherine Hembree Fowler. He shared a long and loving marriage with his wife, Mary Ridings Fowler.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Pam Riggle (Dan), Melissa Preston (David), Beverly Price, and Bridgett Harris (Ben); sons, Randall Fowler (Trish) and Russell Blackwell; brother, Ray Fowler; sister, Francis Lawler (Art); nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his son Lester Fowler, and his sister Doris Williams.

Buford's legacy lives on through the generations of family he cherished. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at Open Arms Baptist Church, 697 Island Ford Rd., Inman South Carolina 29349 on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
