Brenda L. Vanderburg

Brenda L. Vanderburg, 82, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. She was born December 5, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Floyd Lowder and Lois Ballard Lowder.

Brenda was of the Baptist faith and attended McGill Baptist Church in Concord, North Carolina. She retired from Converse College and enjoyed gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mark (Karen) Vanderburg and Charles (Torri) Vanderburg; sister, Wanda Donahue; grandchildren, Justin Driskill, Heather Vess, and Tristan and Jace Vanderburg; and great grandchildren, Hailey and Lily Driskill, and Mason Owens.

She was predeceased by her parents.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Eggers Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesnee, SC. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tim Worthy officiating.
