Bobby Ray Wilkerson

Bobby Ray Wilkerson passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, in his hometown of Chesnee. He was just shy of his 80th birthday.

Bobby Ray was born to Otto Ray Wilkerson and Corine Pye Wilkerson and remained deeply rooted in the community where he began his life. Over the years, he witnessed and contributed to the growth and change of Chesnee, holding close the values instilled by his family and upbringing.

He was a devoted father to three children: a son, Johnny Wilkerson (Natalie), and daughters Becky and Deanna Wilkerson. Bobby Ray also cherished his role as grandparent to Jacob Raymond Wilkerson. His love for family was a constant presence throughout his life.

Bobby Ray was preceded in death by his parents and eleven brothers and sisters, a large family whose memory remained close to his heart.
