Bill Robbins

Bill Robbins, 91, of Six Points, North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home on November 12, 2024. Bill is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 71 years, Myrtle Tessnear Robbins, grandson, Chris Owens (Leanne) and great-grandchildren Avery and Coleman, all of Durham, North Carolina. Brother Jim Robbins, of Forest City, and sister-in-law, Wanda Woodard (Jerry) of Wilson, North Carolina.

Bill was born in Six Points on September 20, 1933 to Ewell J. and Effie Goode Robbins. He was a life-long member of Race Path Baptist Church. He was an auto-truck mechanic and he owned Bill Robbins' Garage for over 50 years. In his spare time, Bill loved to travel with Myrtle to the mountains.

Bill was preceded in death, by his parents, and his two daughters Debra Robbins Owens, and Tina Robbins, a son-in-law Chuck Owens and two brothers, Jack Robbins and Tom Robbins.

Friends will be received on Saturday, November 16, from 1pm to 2pm, at Race Path Baptist Church, with the service beginning at 2pm. The service will be led by Rev. Randall Cooper, with a eulogy delivered by Tony Robbins. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is truly appreciative of the care given to Bill by Hospice and request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills or Race Path Baptist Church. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
