Bertha Beatrice Covil

Bertha Beatrice Covil, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at her home.

Born in Boiling Springs, SC, she was a daughter of the late Roie Lee Burnett and Beatrice Coggins Burnett. Mrs. Covil was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Shorty" Covil; sister, Helen Bridges; brother, R.G. Burnett; and a great-granddaughter, Heidi Grace.

Left to cherish her memory are her four sons, Jeffrey Covil (Lynn), Keith Covil, Mark Covil (Jean), and Eugene Covil (Linda); two sisters, Agnes Solesbee and Betty Clary; two brothers, Cletus Burnett and Billy Burnett; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
