Becky Smith Gregg Bumgarner

Becky Smith Gregg Bumgarner, 82, widow of Kenneth Ray Gregg, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at her home.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Earl Leroy Smith and Millie Lee Smith. Becky was a member of Peace Freewill Baptist Church. She was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. Becky dearly loved her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband, David Bumgarner; and her sister, Margorie Ann Cole.

Left to cherish Becky's memory are her three daughters, Wanda Gregg of the home, Cindy Bartlett (Terry) of Inman, and Sandra Ridings (Tex) of Moore; and eight grandchildren, Brandy Daugherty, SFC Jonathan Hornbuckle, Zach Robbins, Justin Bartlett, Lacy Frye, Todd Bartlett, Christy Seay, and Mandye Walters.

A funeral service to celebrate Becky's life will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with the Rev. Chuck Thornton and Rev. Frank Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:15am at the funeral home prior to the service.

The family will be at the home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hornbuckle, Justin Bartlett, Billy Cole, Donivan Daugherty, Noah Bailey, and Gabriel Ballou.
