Barbara Lee Williams Jackson

Barbara Lee Williams Jackson, 87, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, February 5, 2024, with her family by her side after a brief illness.

Born February 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Revelle Williams. She was predeceased by her husband, William R Jackson Sr., brother Curtis James Williams (Penny), and sister Sammie Passmore (Mack).

Left to cherish her memory are brother, Grady Lee Williams Jr. (Priscilla) of Bessemer City; seven children, Barbara Jean Mauney, Susan Jackson, William Jackson Jr. (Sharon), Rebecca Jackson, Christopher Jackson (Stacey), Joseph Jackson (Kearie), and Curtis Jackson (Leslie); eleven grandchildren, Brandy Ross (David), Amanda Jean, Peyton (Meleah), Chase, Jordon, Brayden, Mason, Jeremy, Casey, and Ethan; and nine great Grandchildren.

Barbara was of the Baptist faith, a loving mother and a selfless woman who always put her children and others ahead of herself. She was a member of the Eastern Stars and an Avon selling fanatic in her day. As our Daddy always said, "Mom's out there peddling that Avon."

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. A small Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 9, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Darnell Durrah officiating.

The family will be at the home of her son, Chris Jackson.
