Barbara Lance Kirby

Barbara Lance Kirby, 95, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. William W.S. Bill Kirby.  Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of late Martin Luther Lance and Fannie Victoria Quail. She is predeceased by three sisters, Catherine Ballenger, Margaret Cantrell, and Ida Davis; three brothers, Cleveland Lance, Buster Lance and Jack Lance.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sherri Meadows (Terry); sons, Martin Lee Kirby (Melinda), John Kirby, and Stephen Kirby (Lisa); a sister, Frances Bailey; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel in Boiling Springs, SC.  Rev. Dr. Michael Hamlet, Rev. Andy Parker and Mr. Justin Horton will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
