Barbara Octavia Brownlee Huey

Barbara Octavia Brownlee Huey, 85, of Chesnee, S.C. passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at her home. She was born in Laurens County on September 28, 1937 to the late Nellie Montjoy Wolfe.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Huey; son, Gene Huey; granddaughter, Brandy Nicole Huey; grandsons, Joshua Kirk Huey and Stephen James Huey; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, John Franklin Huey, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Lynn Huey; a son, John Steven Huey; and a grandson, Ted Dean Hatcher, Jr.
