Arnold Kenneth Hughes

Arnold Kenneth Hughes, 83, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away on November 28, 2025, at Hospice of Carolina Foothills.  Born on January 7, 1942, in Henrietta, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Margaret Frances Allen Hughes and Kenneth Lyton Hughes.

Arnold spent his career as a truck driver and was known for his strong work ethic.

Left to cherish his memory are, son Arnold Kenneth Hughes Jr., of Asheville, NC; daughters, Sheri Vick (David), of Lebanon, TN, and Vicki Bostic (Yates), of Lexington, SC; sister, Phyllis Annette Elmore, of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Aaron Vick, Lydia Vick, Sarah Vick, Yates Bostic III "Trey", Paige Bostic, Stephen Hughes, Adam Hughes, and Jenna Hughes; six great grandchildren; and partner, Gwen Sprinkle.

In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Williams Hughes, and a brother Steven Douglas Hughes.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee, conducted by Rev. Tim Worthy. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service in the chapel.
