Annie Faye Davis

Annie Faye Davis, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Born on January 10, 1943, in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late William B. Morris and Lela Wilson Morris.  Faye was a graduate of Chase High School and a payroll manager with Spartan Mills. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and found joy in her faith and fellowship.

Faye had a zest for life and a variety of passions that brought happiness to those around her. Her love for music, driving and cooking showed her to be an exceptional baker, renowned for her delicious fruit cakes; her love for music was shown in her excellent piano skills, and her love of shopping was evident in her tremendous wardrobe, which reflected her vibrant personality. She also had a green thumb and took great pride in the red roses that adorned her front garden—a testament to her dedication and care.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Lynn Davis; brother-in-law, Jimmy Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Glenn Davis; brother, Johnny Morris; and other cherished family members who had gone before her.

Faye's warmth, talents, and faith left an indelible mark on all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Ty Childers.
