Annamaria Denise Fletcher

Annamaria Denise Fletcher, age 34, of Inman, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was born in Spartanburg on October 26, 1989 to Ronnie Lee Fletcher and Renee Blackwell Johnson.

Annamaria was an English teacher at Boiling Springs High School. She attended Converse College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. She was an avid concert goer, and was a huge fan of Def Leppard. Annamaria loved animals, sunflowers, and traveling to Seaport Village in San Diego. She had a passion for teaching and loved her students.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Renee Johnson (Ciera); father, Ronnie Fletcher (Marlyn); sister, Autumn Danielle Fletcher; grandmother, Pat Peterson; grandparents, Danny and Susie Blackwell; friends, Bruce and Linda Pictor, Rex Godfrey, David and Maricon Stirewalt; and a multitude of other friends, as well as the staff and students of Boiling Springs High School.

She was predeceased by her grandfather, Jack Peterson; and her grandparents, Carson Lee Fletcher and Patsy Lee Fletcher.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A funeral service will be held at 4:30PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at New Beginnings UMC with Rev. Ken Owens, Rev. Eddie Arrington, and Rev. Ron Tosto officiating. Burial will follow the service at Burke Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lance Barton, Danny Blackwell, Wade Bowers, Michael Bragg, David Church, Rex Godfrey, Wayne Jackson, Jackson Ramsay, Kevin Ramsay, and David Stirewalk. The English Department and Administrators of Boiling Springs High School are asked to sit in a group.

In lieu of flowers, you may bring backpacks, pencils, markers, sticky notes, antibacterial wipes, tissues, or expo markers to the visitation or service, to be donated to students and teachers at Boiling Springs High School and throughout Spartanburg District Two.
