Alice Geneva Price

Alice Geneva Price, 99, of Cowpens, South Carolina passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. She was born June 20, 1926 in Cherokee County to the late Katie Lawson Price and Robert Edgar Price.

Alice was a member of New Pleasant Baptist Church for over 70 years, where she also taught Sunday School. She retired from teaching after having been an educator for 40 years in both North and South Carolina.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Lillian Price Rowe, Evenes Price Humpries, and Faye Price Sprouse; as well as brothers, Osborne Price (Shirley), R.L. Price, Grady Price, and Rev. Clarence Price.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00Am on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Springhill Memorial Gardens with the Pastor Craig Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 6:00PM on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.

Memorials may be made to New Pleasant Baptist Church.
