Albert "Harold" Jones, 86, of Greer, entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. He was born in Spartanburg on April 24, 1937 to the late Daisy Bell Stedman Jones and George Washington Jones.

He was pastor of the Memorial Drive Baptist Church for the past five years. His favorite pastimes were crocheting, gardening, making peanut brittle candy, and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, April, and her husband Mike Ortino; his son, Wofford, and his wife Laurie; and two grandchildren, Naomi and Michael Ortino.

In addition to his parents, Daisy and George, he was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Lee Jones, and brother, Arthur "Wilson" Jones.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home at 1:00PM with Rev. Ron Culbertson officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Tim Rhymer, Hank Heckman, Maurice Lowe, Tim Bell, Darrell Lee, and Darrell Lowe.

The family will be at their respective homes.
