Aida Rodriguez

Aida Rodriguez, 69, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024.

Born in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Orestes R. Rodriguez and Aida Misla Roman. For many years, she worked as a philanthropist with the Rockefeller Foundation and was also a professor at The New School. Aida was a beloved wife and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joseph Ellis Pereira.

Left to cherish Aida's memory is her husband, Joseph A. Pereira; sister, Isabel de Deus; and step-daughter, Signe Pereira.

A wake will be held from 11:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
