Ada Mozelle Lee

Mrs. Ada Mozelle Heatherly Lee, 92, went home to meet her precious Lord and Savior on Friday, December 30, 2022. She was born in Union, SC on May 16, 1930 to the late Fred Webster Heatherly, Sr. and Eultia Camp Heatherly.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, the best grandma and great-grandmother ever, and loved spending time with them. Prior to Cooley Springs Baptist Church, she was a member of Eden Wesleyan Church, where she was actively involved with children's Sunday school classes, and youth ministries, making several trips to the mission field and Haiti. She loved the Lord unconditionally and served Him faithfully. Mrs. Lee retired from Butte knit after 20 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, and co-owned and operated Lee's Farms, which was known for their pumpkins and hometown hydroponic tomatoes. She also enjoyed raising white German Shepherds and Siberian Huskies.

She is survived by daughters, Deborah L. Arledge of Columbus, NC, Jan Williams (Randy) of Chesnee, SC, Trish Shields of Chesnee, SC, and Paula Mosley (Steve) of Chesnee, SC; sisters, Lillie Brown of Tryon, NC, Ruth Price of Ocala, FL, and Mildred Edge of Cliffside, NC; granddaughters, Kim Valenti (Dominick) of Moore, SC, Jennifer Potter (Derrick) of Chesnee, SC, Amy Arrington of Chesnee, SC; grandsons, Glenn Arledge (Liza) of Columbus, NC, Michael Arledge (Traci) of Chesnee, SC, Jason Shields (Dawn) of Chesnee, SC, and Justin Mosley (Victoria) of Inman, SC; as well as 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Paul R. Lee, she was predeceased by sisters, Lucille and Majorie Heatherly; brothers, Archie, James Charles "J.C.", Woodrow "Bud", and Fred Webster, Jr. "Freddie" Heatherly; granddaughter, Amanda LeAnne Mosley; and sons-in-law, Clifford Arledge and Lynn Shields.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Cooley Springs First Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. David DeLand. Mrs. Lee will be placed in the church an hour prior to the service. A private family burial will follow.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Arledge, Michael Arledge, Jason Shields, Justin Mosley, Randy Williams, Derrick Potter, Steve Mosley, and Dominick Valenti.

The family will be at the home of Steve and Paula Mosley.
