Paul Lewis, 70, of 449 Granada Drive, Spartanburg, SC passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Camp Care Nursing Home. He was the widower of Patricia Gurley Lewis, who died in 2008.
Mr. Lewis was a native of Spartanburg County and a son of the late Jim and Gladys Summey Lewis. He was a retired employee of Flowers Bakery. Mr. Lewis was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Richard Dale Lewis of Spartanburg; a daughter: Crystal (Roger) Blanton of Spartanburg; brothers: Dan Lewis of Whittier, CA, Carroll Lewis of Dayton, Ohio, and Marvin Lewis of Columbus, GA; sister: Eileen (William) Mostiler of Spartanburg; grandchildren: Richard Dales Lewis, Jr., Rita Diane Lewis, and John Blanton; and special friend and neighbor: Pat Porter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Eggers Funeral Chapel of Boiling Springs. Rev. Charles Hall and Rev. James Crocker will officiate. Interment will be in Boiling Springs First Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Eileen Mostiler, 3921 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg
