| Obituary: |
James Madison Wood, 56, of 169 Spring Hills Rd., passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late George Madison and Mary Lou Taylor Wood.
He was the President of Wood Fabricators, Inc. and he attended Fairview Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons Brian Madison Wood and wife Jennifer, James Blake Wood and wife Amanda; sister Ruth Pearson; brothers Joe Wayne Wood and wife Elaine, John C. Wood and wife Mary; grandchildren Andrew, Cloe, Micah, Payne, Matthew Wood; and 3 nieces.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Eggers Funeral Home, Boiling Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Fairview Baptist Church and the Rev. Ty Childers, the Rev. John Lancaster and the Rev. David Lancaster will officiate. The body will lie in state from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joey Davis, JW Horton, Larry Price, Michael Seay, Gene Sewell and John Watkins.

The family is at the home of his brother John C. Wood, 121 Parris Bridge Rd., Spartanburg.
