Edward “Ed” Ballew, 62, of 271 Falling Creek Rd., passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Regional Hospice Home. He was the son of the late Landrum and Sally Harris Ballew.
He was employed in Auto Sales, a member of Una First Freewill Baptist Church and was a Mason.
He is survived by his wife Linda Crowe Ballew; son Jon Ballew; daughter Melinda Brown; brother L.D. Bellew and wife Zeffy; sister Beatrice Edmonds and husband H.C.; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Eggers Funeral Home, Boiling Springs.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Eggers Funeral Chapel and officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Cash. Burial will follow at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
