Richard Allen Waresh, 71, of 2890 Chesnee Hwy., passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009. He is the son of the late Evelyn Waresh.
He was retired from Dot Print Pak in Spartanburg, a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Rose Mary Waresh; daughters Tammy Doescher of Indiana, Karen Hinkle of Spartanburg, Cherie Fisher and husband Douglas of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son John Smith of Waterville, OH; grandchildren Ava and Dana Doescher, Melinda and Kevin Mullinux, Sean, Kris, and Penny Kirby, Matthew, Jennifer, Emily and Bubba Smith; great-grandchildren Dylan Brandt, Daiven Bridges, Nathan Kirby and Alex Berry.
The family will have a memorial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations to help pay for burial expenses.
The family is at the home of Karen Hinkle, 3 Spring St., Drayton, SC.
