Mrs. Cliffina Marie “Peanut” Baird Parris, 42, of 238 Willingham Road, Gaffney, passed away on November 22, 2009. She was the wife of David Parris and the daughter of Clifford Baird and Jean Parris Baird. She was a clerk at Foothills Ford and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a great niece Brianna Knox; five brothers, Rick Lindsey of Gaffney, Dale Godwin of Chesnee, Marvin Baird of Gaffney, Loren Baird of Lincoln, NE, and Mark Baird of Beatrice, NE; two sisters, Sherry Lanier and Teresa Knox both of Gaffney; her mother-in-law Frances Parris of Chesnee; her sister-in-law Debbie Thomas and her husband Bobby of Chesnee; and her brother-in-law Bobby Thrift and his wife Sherii of Chesnee. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rhonda Greer and her father-in-law Bill Parris.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee with Rev. Harold King officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the home of Frances Parris, 254 Ezell Circle, Chesnee, SC 29323
