Alma Jean Powell Stevens, 65, 114 Shoally St., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She was daughter of the late Julius and Odelle Roddy Powell.
She was a homemaker, a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church and the Sanctuary Class. She was a faithful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Lance Stevens; daughters Robin Ashcraft and husband Bill, Traci Willingham and husband Randy, Tina Stevens; sister Bertha Fowler and husband Clifford; grandsons Dylan and Dustin Willingham and Matthew Ashcraft. She is predeceased by a brother Buddy Powell and sisters Doris Ray and Helen Powell.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Eggers Funeral Home, Boiling Springs.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Hank Williams and Dr. James Crocker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery
