Tracy Aaron Harris, 50, of 283 Country Haven Drive, Cowpens, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the husband of Rita Ann Emory Harris of Cowpens and the son of Geraleen Jolley Harris of Duncan and the late Johnny Harris. Mr. Harris was retired from Clayton Homes and was a former member of Lyman Wesleyan Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Jeffery Emory and wife, Carolyn, of Grover, NC and Tyler Harris of the home; one sister, Tina Babson of Greer; one brother, Terry Harris of Columbia, SC; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee with the Rev. Howard Smith and the Rev. Paul Buckner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Eggers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Westmoreland, Harvey Swanson, Calvin Bradley, Billy Black, Donnie Emory and Jake Emory.
Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
The family will be at the home of Rita Harris, 385 Emory Road, Cowpens.
